That cover! I just couldn't wait to check this one out. "Atomic Women" by Roseanne Montillo is a must-read for anyone interested in the development of science over the course of the last century, the creation of the atomic bomb, or if you've watched/read "Hidden Figures" or "Oppenheimer."
The book is written in second person perspective, and gives voice to a variety of experiences of the women behind the men at Los Alamos. It is one of my favorites for that reason, as well as the historical perspective of a time when important decisions were being made. Montillo really made the experience come to life. I think you will thoroughly enjoy this book.
